Interested in future upgrade - watched icon

To all:

I'm in the doghouse with the family and so I thought I'd post to see if there is more than just fleeting interesting in this. There are 4 of us in the house and we all seem to be on different schedules. Therefore, when anyone sits down to watch TV, almost all of the recorded shows are shown as "watched", however, you can't tell who watched what.

It would sure be nice if there could be a few unique graphics to show things like W1, W2, W3, etc so that say dad could watch a show and mark it watched by W1. Same for the others. That way, when everyone has seen the show, the last person could delete it.

I've deleted way too many shows that others had not seen to try to keep the recorded shows down to double digits. Anyone else interested in something like this?

IIR, the Ortus project has some plans to incorporate functionality somewhere along these lines.

I would also like to see this functionality. On a side note, unless you are running out of space, don't be afraid of double digit numbers of recordings. Many of us have triple+ digits. I have not had any stability issues with a large number of recordings.

If Sage ever implemented a User ID then this could be dealt with, along with preventing access to "certain" files.

You're worried about double digit recordings? A lot of my recordings are kids shows that never get deleted. I am probably well over a thousand recordings on my old system.
