Question about remote, and associated files

First time setting up Sage (and using V7):
1) Under Commands, Linking IR, I ended up adding some dirty commands. Is there a way to just wipe that file clean? The option for removing a code requires you to re-input that code (which I can't get it to do). I can't figure out which file stores the info.

2) I'm going to be using a Harmony One remote. Using an UIRT to control a DISH box, with everything in the closet extended with a Hot Link. How do I keep the remotes command from spilling over to the DISH box? In other words, if I hit guide on my remote so that the Sage guide comes up, how do I set it up so that the DISH box doesn't have it's guide come up.

My thought was to program another device for the Harmony One just for Sage. Maybe label it as another TV or something.

I've been at this all weekend and my brain is fried, so I'm probably just looking at it all wrong. But thanks for any direction.

You can remove the ui/rc_mappings/<command name> properties in the appropriate .properties file, but unless you remove specific codes on each line, that will remove all learned codes.

Thanks. So if I just delete it and start over, will it rebuild the file? Or go in and blank it?

You can just delete the lines you want to clear out, while SageTV isn't running.

If you delete the properties file itself, everything would get reset the next time SageTV is started. (Well, actually, it will first try to use the .autobackup copy of the file before starting a new properties file, so you would have to remove both to really start over.)
