False Conflict Icon
I've had the conflict warning icon now for three builds and I cannot get rid of it! And to top it all off, I have NO scheduled recordings!
At one time in the past, I had one recurring time-based recording. 11AM to 11:30 AM every M, Tu, W, Th, and Fri. I deleted it many moons ago. Now when I view the conflict warning, it tells me that my recording at 11AM to 11:30 AM every M, Tu, W, Th, and Fri is in conflict. The only option it gives me in the menu is "Do Nothing". Not very helpful... When I go to the Recording Information screen, nothing is there. When I go to the Recording Schedule screen, absolutely nothing is scheduled for any of my tuners! Because of this, I cannot delete the scheduled recording that is supposedly in conflict. It cannot be found anywhere. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks.

I noticed last night that my conflict icon won't go away in RC2. I went into the Recording Information screen and managed to get all of the yellow icons to go away for each item, but the yellow warning at the top of the screen won't go away.

My specific issue is still there in RC3. See above. Anyone else seeing this exact same problem? I do beleive RC3 fixed Eric's problem, but not mine.

Have you tried deleting your wiz.bin file to start fresh? There could be some bad beta stuff in there.

I have the same problem
I'm having the same issue, plawlor. I have no conflicts at all, but the sage icon begs to differ. To mlbdude: if I delete wiz.bin, won't I lose all info about my favorites and what programs have been watched? I would think that would be an absolute last resort, personally. If there is some way to do it without losing my information, I would rather do that.

You would loose everything. I am thinking of doing it myself once the beta is over. I don't want any of the potential junk that may be in there from previous betas for follow me around.
If there is some bad data in your wiz.bin you will never get it fixed. |

If you delete your wiz.bin, are your existing recordings still accessible somewhere in sage?

Not easily. You could move them outside your video directories into your library space and have Sage import them that way.

If the betas might have introduced some bad data, what we could use is some sort of wiz bang .bin validation/fixer program to run through the data and make sure it is all 'correct'. If all the data looks correct in the first place, then I suppose such a utility wouldn't accomplish anything.
