Problem playing movies since plugin upgrade

Just upgraded my plugin (I'm on most recent SageTV beta) and now can not play movies. This was working until the upgrade. It now has a problem with my path. The movies in question are in S:\Vid\Movies. It is coming up saying that "current movie path is S:\Movies\Vid, Current Sage Import Directories S:\Vid."

The movie path is correct (I've been through the wiki, and the case is correct). I have all of my videos in the S:\Vid folder ( on the Sage server), some under Movies and some under TV sub-folders. Did we loose the ability to see sub folders in the upgrade. What do I need to change to address?

TY, for the hard work, the multi-disk support is the last thing I needed to get the WAF to move to 7.x.

You answered your own question you are mapping mymovies to

S:\Movies\Vid

and sage too

s:\Vid

need to change one or the other to match.

Plucky,

Regrettably that was a typo on my part. It was S:\Vid\Movies, not S:\Movies\Vid. The issue remains, but I have worked around it by mounting a sage share for each sub folder. i.e. S:\Vid\Movies, S:\Vid\TV, S:\Vid\Test, etc.

I would not mention it but it worked before the upgrade and not after.

Subfolder maps are not necessary and there should be no reason this is not working....I didn't do anything to change the file paths anyone else seeing this issue?

I brought it up because it was weird. I forced a database rebuild and it works now. Don't know what happened there. TY again. This plugin is awesome.

At risk of proving myself the idiot of the class. The error is back. Attached is a screen shot of the error.

All my videos are in sub-folders of s:\Vid. i.e. in s:\Vid\TV or s:\Vid\Movies. This is in s:\Vid\Movies and I'm getting this error. Again I would assume it was me, but this was working 100% till the upgrade.

Should I just change my import directories to s:\Vid\TV and s:\Vid\Movie? (I'm fine with that as a workaround.) Or is this a issue that needs to be looked at?

No that should work.

Can you do me a favor

stop the sagetv service

delete the database directory from mymoviesfileshare\sagetv\database

delete any mymovies logs from sagetv\sagetv\logs

restart the service and let the database rebuild. If you still get the error send me the log.

I had this same issue with a few movies after the last update. I had to manually go into each one in the MM app and manually retype the paths. That, plus a Sage MM DB rebuild fixed it for me.

My bad on the location. I knew I had read that somewhere....

That did it. Appears fixed 100%. I will continue to keep an eye on this.

TY again for this plugin and the support.
