HD200 Beta Firmware - Color Scheme - why blue?

This isn't an earth shattering issue but why does the HD-200 beta firmware still use the old Blue SageTV color scheme. Shouldn't it be upgraded to match the new look and feel of SageTV 7?

Is it because the firmware is also meant to be used with SageTV6?

Will we get a change to the new look when Sage 7 is out of beta?

Do you mean the "standalone" UI Wayne?

All of the screens, the "waiting X seconds to connect to Sage Server", standalone screens as well as the "splash" screen that comes up to tell you that the HD-200 Media Extender is booting up. Basically everything you see before you get into the Sage Extender UI.

One would assume that since the Standalone UI uses the same look as the SageTV6 system that this would be upgraded as well.

I'm guessing it pretty low priority. Especially since the lionshare of users normally don't venture into standalone mode or care too much about the splash screen. All in due time I suppose.

Ok, now that V7 is officially released can we get rid of the old blue color scheme on extender (and server) startup plus update the standalone UI.

Yes, you can make those changes any time you like. Customization instructions are here. Let us know when it's ready for testing.

Sure I can do that but why should I - Sage should have consistent "branding", therefore when I start up my Sage Extender, even before it goes into extender or standalone mode it should look more like this:

rather than this:

I think you explained it well when you said it is not earth shattering.
