HD300 And ReadyNas Pro

I am interested in getting a HD300 for playing movies and pictures on my NAS on my TV. I do not want to use any computer/HTPC and play the media directly from the NAS.
Is this possible using the HD 300?
Will appreciate your help.

Only if you can get it to connect to your ReadyNAS. Which by all expectations SHOULD be straight forward. But the last time I tried an HD-200 in standalone mode - it failed miserably. I posted about it in this forum.

HD200 & ReadyNAS

Eventually, I gave up. I should not have to change security settings on my ReadyNAS (Share Access - No User Accounts, Quotas etc..And no passwords on the share access) for the HD-200, when plenty of PCs in the house, some old XBOXes running XBMC, and the SageTV server have no issue whatsoever.

Assuming the core SMB code is the same between the HD200, and the HD300 - your experience may be the same.
