Option to quickly change sort order in current view?

Hi Plucky,

I didn't notice a thread for future enhancement suggestions, so I'll just post this as a separate message.

In day to day use of SMM, I sometimes miss an option I liked about SageMC a lot, which is the ability to quickly switch between different sort orders, for example

• by sort name (as default)
• by MyMovies ID (to get the newest titles first)
• etc.

Now I understand I can do this anytime in SMM by going into the Options menu, then into the Sort submenu, changing the sort order, and going back again. But that's at least 6 clicks away (not sure I counted this correctly but it's definitely more clicks than I would like it to be).

So (IMHO) it would be great to cycle through different sort orders within a view by repeatedly pressing a special button (without leaving that view). And of course it would be even better if were possible to configure what sort orders are used/cycled through when repeatedly pressing that button.

Would that be something you'd consider adding at some point in the future? (I haven't submitted this as an enhancement request in code.google yet as I thought this might start an interesting discussion here first.)

P.S. Forgive me if this something that's already possible and documented in the Wiki - in that case I've missed it.

P.P.S. Now that I'm at it - it would also be a great addition if you could bring up that 'Quick View' sub-menu by pressing a button in the main view (i.e., without going through the options menu).
