Problems getting my hdhr and hdpvr working

Hi guys,

I have a SageTV Linux server running on Ubuntu 10.1 and sagetv client on a windows box. I am having problems getting my cards up and running. When I try and scan channels for my hdhr from the sagetv client, I get the following:

ERROR (-12): There was a null object requested to playback

I have read other posts about this error and have done the following to try and resolve this issue:

I have removed openjava

I have installed the hdhr drivers and updated the firmware of the HDHR unit.

I still get these errors though.

My HDPVR is also giving me issues when I try to check channels on my listing. I get a playback error that states something about "null"

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here with my setup

How are you trying to watch the HDPVR? Can you provide the output of

dmesg |grep hdpvr

What connections are you using with the HDPVR?
