HD300 Color "shimmering" effect when skipping forward/back in video

I get a strange color "shimmering" effect (splotches of shimmering color outlines) when I skip forward or backward in recordings. There are no problems after normal playback resumes. I don't see this with the HD200. Anyone else notice this?

I see this too. Along with the audio dropouts (HDMI) while watching a show, I have had to switch back to my HD200's for WAF to stay up.

Have you tried different output resolutions? My TV is a 1080p but if I set the output resolution to 1080p I will get audio drop outs. Currently my output res is set to 1080i and no audio drop outs.

Doesnt bother me too much, but seeing as someone brought it up....

I have 720p, 1080i, and 1080p all checked on the setup screen (my TV is 1080p). I see the shimmering during skips.

Doesn't bother me terribly. Playback is fine and if I'm skipping, it's because I don't care about what's on, so I don't mind if it's shimmering during that time.

I have not noticed any audio dropouts - I will ask my wife to be on the lookout, since she watches about 90% more TV than I do.
