Two HD300 problems

I had the jumpiness problem so I updated to the latest beta firmware today and it still appears to be happening. If I pause and wait a few seconds and press play it usually clears up. It might reoccur but it seems to be a buffering issue. I was hopeful this update would fix it but I still see it. Network hasn't changed and this HD300 is in the same exact place as a previous HD200.

Also today I had an issue where I had a comskip file for a recording that wasn't needed. Anyway I wanted to fast forward to the end but when I got to 16x the screen went black and I saw the resolution on my TV as if it wasn't supported. Also the receiver was making popping noises which were absolutely awful. I am going to test on another tv but this is a nicer newer samsung TV that should easily support 24p.

Anyone else seeing this?

24fps shouldn't matter on recorded tv as you wouldn't want to display recorded tv in 24fps. Are you trying that? If so that could be your answer.

I enabled that resolution on setup and I think that is how it is displaying. It doesn't seem to look like a problem on a different HD300 not enabled with 24p?
