One other reason for using DVBLink would be to introduce DVB-T2 receivers with CAM support. Anysee E7 T2 looks really promising.
Yes, the softcam and the DVBT2 took me to dvblink aswell.
Allready bought a blackgold dvbt2 card. No CAM support on that card though.

Strange you are having these problems. I never had an issue with that.
Try upgrading to oscam and acamd 0.6.2.0 if you havent got that already..

Nippe and SyrA,

Very interesting to see your success. I am in Sweden with 1x FireDTV DVB-C, 2x FireDTV DVB-T and 1x PCTV Nanostick T2 HD 290e natively in Sage right now, but I have high hopes for DVBLogic to be able to use SoftCAM and Anysee E7 T2.

I have a very good XMLTV feed using TVxb.

Can you clarify a few things please:

- does it work with WinXP 32-bit, if I want to watch TV on the same PC where DVBLogic and SageTV are setup? With streaming to another PC with a SageTV Client installed? What's the reason for imposed limitations?

- is it possible to fix the issue with Editing Channels, so that channel numbers supplied by DVBLogic tuners can be edited both ways and synced afterwards: in DVBLogic and also in WMC / SageTV? Now when I try to edit a DVBLogic channel in WMC or SageTV, the app hangs.

- is it possible to move a motor via SageTV & DVBLogic combo? What DiSEqC command values should be added to DVBLogic setup - for a relative turn from current position to a target, or from Zero motor position to the target? DiSEqC 1.2 based or USALS?

Theres no limitations on that. I definetly supports WinXP - but a upgrade to W7 is highly recommended. Less problems, and better Picture Quality.
DVBLink has its issues in XP aswell, but it can be made to work.
Im running WHS (win2003) and that is working fine.

Sync of channel Id's is manual.
Set it up in dvblink first, then generate new dvb freq. files for sagetv.

Your DISEQ question someone with diseq experience have to answer. I dont use it.

I just tried the latest DVBlink V4 Beta and SageTV 7.1.9 and the program that creates the .FRQ file does not work. Does anyone have any idea how I might track down the problem ?

Cheers

On the DVBlogic forum, people are waiting for someone to write a new program to export the channels. But Oberon has stated that Sage would need to work with PBDA drivers first.

Version 3.X still works great.

Using this on whs, but looking to upgrade to whs 2011, Has anyone already tried this?

Now Working Fine in fact I did not need to do the BDA install described above, getting DVBLLink and OScam to work was the most difficult!

Long time since I checked the forum but I thought I should give an update of how things have progressed for me and also check if someone could help me with on thing.

I've got DVBLink(v3.x) and sagetv running perfectly. At the moment I use 2 Anysee T2 receivers and 2 FireDTV-T with SmartWi. HD-channels are working as they should, channel zapping takes a while but I can live with it.
I use CAMs in all my receivers, no soft-CAM.
One thing that I would like to do is to use all of my receivers with DVBLink. at the moment you are limited to 4 (not sure why and not sure how to extend in to the number I want)
I have an additional 2 FireDTV-T and one additional AnySee T2 that I would like to use with DVBLink. At the moment I've connected them "natively" to sagetv.
This is a bit frustrating when organizing EPG and setting up channels.

I do have a script that pulls EPG information from dagenstv.com and then I import everything via XML for sageTV plug-in.

Does anybody know how to extend the number of receivers with the program that damianflynn posted?

Nippe,

I also use two Anysee T2 receivers, so I can't help you on how to use more receivers with DVBLink.

But I have a question for you: Have you gotten the encrypted HD channels to work? What CAM are you using?

I'm getting encrypted HD-channels as well without problems.
I'm using the CI+ module from boxer.
if you search on prisjakt.nu for Boxer TV Module HD CI+ you will find it.
(Not sure that one is allowed to post links to commercial pages)

That is amazing. I had it working for a while last year, but then Boxer turned on CI+-based encryption. Maybe they switched it back off - I have not actually tested since then. For how long have you had it working?

(I also have a Boxer-branded CI+ CAM, so it should be the same.)

Nippe,

One further question: What Anysee driver version are you using?

Not really sure for how long it has been working, it has been working as long as I have had the receivers. and that is since they came on the market I think.
I'm using the AD01061734 driver, I haven't updated after that since I've heard that people have had problems and for me everything works. Don't fix things that isn't broken

I got it working as well. I managed to upgrade the firmware of the CAM, and then it worked.

(I got mine back in March 2011, had HD working for a month or two, and then it stopped. Several other people reported the same thing at that point in time, so I gave up.)

I am a bit concerned to be using two pieces of software that are no longer being developed - the old DVBLink version and Sage...

OK, I see. Upgrading the Firmware of the CAM. How did you manage to do that?

I'm a bit afraid as well but I as stable platform with four extenders I like to keep it. I haven't seen any other platform that has working extenders.
So nice to have just a server running and small extenders at the TV, no computers.
But yes, no development is scary. If I knew how to do it I would like to extend the script for supporting 7 receivers. that would ease up my day a lot.
