100% CPU for RC3 Server after Client Action

I'm having a similar problem to Llamas except the CPU on my Server is maxing at 100%, not the Client...

The Server is in Sleep Mode and I'll be watching the Client. All of the sudden, video on the Client will get choppy or freeze altogether. Sage Client will be very unresponsive in general. CPU on the Client looks good. However, the Server will be maxed. I have to kill Sage and restart to fix the problem. Seems to be happening every hour or so. Very annoying!

In normal circumstances, my Server CPU runs very low. I am using a PVR350 with hardware only decoding enabled. My Server also has plenty of spare horsepower. The change in the last couple of days is I started defining Favorites. However, there isn't any recording going on when the problem occurs so I do not think there is a connection. I have attached my Server and Client log files. The last problem occurred at approx 11:45 AM.

Have you tried the non_bocking property change on the server the other users are using just to see if it works?

Have you checked the Windows Task Manager to confirm it is actually SageTV that is using your cpu time? On mine, it is Zone Alarm that goes to 100% cpu time as it checks everything SageTV tries to send over the network. (You may not have this problem, but I thought I would offer it as a possibility...)

mlbdude,

I thought I had already set that property to true. I double-checked and it was set to false. I have since modified the property and things are a little better.

Andy,

Yes, it is Sage. When the feezing occurs, Sage is between 97% and 100%. I'm going to run for a few days with the property change and see how things go.
