I am experiencing similar, frequent hangs, and find the device to be very warm. It failed about 5-6 times today, so I have put an HD100 in the same environment, and it has work flawlessly for the past several hours.
I haven't captured logs on the extenders in the past, but will see what I can figure out once my wife moves on to something else for awhile. WAF is kind of low, at the moment, so I don't want to pull the 100 out yet!  Shaun
