Red face Power supply drowned!

Hi all,

I will not risk *all* my credibility by giving too much detail, but I managed to drown the 300HD power supply with a pumpkin this halloween. In my defense, it was a large pumpkin.

I wonder what the best way is to replace it, since I live in The Netherlands. A cheap, fast replacement from the United States would be fine, but if someone in the Netherlands (or elsewhere in Europe) knows a good "local" replacement, I am all ears!

Thanks,

Mark

I am not familiar with the Netherlands store structure, if you were here I would recommend take the plug and go to radio shack but you should be able to get a replacement power brick that matches the voltage output at an electronics store and it work as long as the output plug is the same.

True, but this power supply is fairly unusual, with a 2A current. Many stores over here will not have one in stock. I know I'll find one somewhere, but to be honest, I'm looking for the best (=cheapest!) solution .

Did a search for "12v 2a power supply" in Google found

Both under $10 before shipping. The amazon one looks just like the Power supply that I got from sage. Best of luck, hope it helps!

Ah, I must say I did not try to google on American options. So when I followed your link, I realized I might as well look at Amazon.de and Amazon.co.uk. And bingo. 12 euros for a replacement , including shipping (together with a book). Thanks!
