Recommended set up for UK and Sky tv

I have just purchased this excellent software with a HD300 after many years using M$ media centre. I'm looking for recommedations for an a set up that accomplishes the following:

1: Can receive DVB-S and DVB-S2 channels
2: Automatic and easy set up of Channel listing and EPG data (14 days) with little maintenance
3: The ability to add Sky pay channels at a later date ( therefore what cam software and hardware should I go for ) - inc HD.
4: Keep the setup and hardware required to a minimum, I have found this works better as there are fewer components to go wrong.

From reading the forums there are many options and some clear and practical guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,

You will probably get better responses posting in the UK Forum.

I'm personally using Hauppauge Nova-S2 cards for DVB-S/2, they have worked fine.
EPG will just work over the air automatically which may be good enough for you, otherwise most people go the XMLTV route.
For the Sky query see the thread on DVB Logic although I've no experience myself.

Thank you

Thanks for the response, it does seem that the hauppauge products are the most stable / widely supported products.
Over the air epg data will be fine, as this keeps everything to a minimum and will be fine for me.
I'll take a look at DVBLogic, it looks a good product.
