FW Naming Question

If I need to revert FW on my HD200 via USB, what do I name the file? Or do I just take the default .ver & .bin names as given?

The FAQ's seem to allude to some re-naming, but what are those names?

I don't want to brick my HD200, but I accidentally updated the FW to work with Sage 7.x, and I am staying at 6.x for the forseeable future, so I want to go 1 stable FW revision back.

Where are you told what to specifically name the 2 file sets that are downloaded to the USB stick?

Thanks.

You have to rename the FW to remove the version info. Refer to this FAQ

Those names would be stp200.ver and stp200.bin

But I don't really think it is necessary to revert to a pre Sage 7.x FW, when I was running S6.x all FW's worked fine. I would leave it alone if all was working good.

Rock - the problem is that all is not well. My DVD's don't play back correctly on my HD200. My clients and server are fine, but going to the newer FW on the HD200 messed up many of the DVD's I have on my server. Things like no audio, launching to the wrong menus, etc., as well as sluggishness that never happened before.

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.
