HD300 deinterlacing
Hi
I've just bought HD-300s to replace HD-100s which periodically locked up playing 720 mkv files (BTW the HD-300s havent locked up once, so I consider that problem solved by new hardware. They're also a much nicer piece of kit). However the HD-300 deinterlacing seems no better than the HD-100 (which was on occasion lousy). I had hoped that technology had moved on. Is this something that could be addressed in firmware? The HD-300 was updated to current firmware on receipt. Note that I use the PAL TV system so this is deinterlacing 576i50. I know about native resolutions but my TV handles resolution and refresh rate changes rather inelegantly so I'd prefer to let the extender deinterlace and scale everything to 720p50. Thanks Eric
