IR file questions

Does anyone here know for sure what the numbers in the IR file mean?

I don't have a example in front of me but it goes something like this:

NameOfDevice # # # # #

What do the numbers and their respective positions mean?

Also, is there a way to access the IR device settings through the UI in V2? Or is it all done in the IR file and the properties file?

Thanks,
Bryan

I don't know what the first 2(my Sage taught .IR uses 0s for the first 2 digits) are for, but from memory...
The 3rd number tells sage how many digits to transmit for a channel change. ie my cable box only use numbers up 999 so it's set to 3. If you had a Dish/DirectTV that used channels #s in the thousands you'd want a 4 in the third digit. etc
The 4 and 5 are the internumber and intersequence delay settings settings. They are listed in milliseconds.

I honestly don't know about the Sage2 UI as my USB-UIRT was setup way back in 1.4. If I find the answer I'll post back.

Hope this helps some. Best of luck.
