Customization of Skips

Does anyone know if it is possible to set the amount of time that a forward or backward skip skips? If so, how?

Thanks!

Karen

Simply edit the properties file while SageTV is closed & edit any of the following:

ui/time_scroll_amount=
videoframe/ff_time=
videoframe/ff_time2=
videoframe/rew_time=
videoframe/rew_time2=

Note that the times are in milliseconds & that the rew values ought to be negative.

Also, check out the updated doc from Frey: SageTV Configuration Properties

See here.

Specifically:
Code:
videoframe/ff_time - milliseconds adjustment for FF
videoframe/ff_time2 - milliseconds adjustment for FF2
and
Code:
videoframe/rew_time - milliseconds adjustment for REW (should be negative)
videoframe/rew_time2 - milliseconds adjustment for REW2 (should be negative)

Hey! Thanks guys!! I was searching the properties file for 'fast', 'forward', 'skip', etc. No wonder I couldn't find it!
