Stops @ Channel Scan

Hi every one.

Im running Server 2003 and SageTV 7 Trial.

I have a WinTV USB2-S Satellite Card & a WinTV Nova TD Card.

When i run a channel scan on either of these channels it just stops working.

I have updated drivers, installed DVD encoder from Cyberlink and its is still not working

Am I missing something????

Cheers folks.

Vince

I assume you've hacked bda support into server 2003?

Are you trying to channel scan from a sagetv client or using the sagetv exe on the server?

I was unable to scan any sat channels in sage using the sagetv client as the config gets written to the client pc not the server, so the server would say testing channel 1, no channels found or something and stop scanning.

Using the sagetv on the server, either run from the sagetv install dir or from the programs menu solved the problem.

Hi,

Well, because of the BDA problem on Server 2003, I have reinstalled Windows XP Pro and I still have the same problem.

Any Suggestions?

Vince

I run on Win2003 R2 with HDHR tuners which are BDA. No problem whatsoever.

What BDA issue are you referring to ?
