How to uninstall Placeshifter??

I've done a search for "uninstall placeshifter" but the few threads did not answer my basic question.

I have Placeshifter v6x on my laptop. I would like to uninstall it completely and the install v7 placeshifter.

In Vista's control panel for add or remove a program, I see Placeshifter listed, but when I click on it, there is no option to uninstall given.

Also following the default path on drive C, I find the folder, but to "uninstall' option there. Or in the start menu.

I did download v7 and installed it on top, but no icon was created, and starting Placeshifter reveils I still have v6 installed.

HOW DO I GET THIS OFF MY Laptops?

(I have a licence for placeshifter, if it makes any difference.)

You should be able to just delete the SageTV\Placeshifter folder under Program Files. Placeshifter is designed to be lightweight and portable and doesn't put anything in the registry as far as I know.

I'll give this a try, just not sure why its listed in the "add/ remove programs" list if it doesn't add anything to the registry.
