New Time Scroll functionality?

Did time scroll always work this way & I never noticed it, or is this new? After entering time scroll mode, I can use ff & rew to move the amount of time specified in the properties file, as usual. But, now I just noticed that while in time scroll mode, ff2 & rew2 move to the end & beginning of a show, respectively. I don't remember that happening before.

I just noticed that with the last release. I know I had tried that combo earlier, so I believe that it is a relatively new feature (just like I figured out how to change the number of half-hour segments displayed in the guide).

Well, people have been asking for an easy way to get to the start/end of a recording, so maybe this was added to solve that.

You mean the ui/epg_col_duration, ui/epg_num_cols, & ui/epg_num_rows properties in the updated properties doc? I was just about to try those out out of curiosity.

Edit: OK, just what does "ui/epg_col_duration - millisecond width of the columns in the LiveTV EPG" mean?? I halved that time & don't see any change. Edit2: Duh! Nevermind... it did change & I was simply blind. I managed to change the EPG to show 15 minute time blocks (which is what I expected)... as useful to me as that might be.

Very cool. And to think I was happy when they just fixed the Timescroll to respect the duration set in the properties file. This is great. Now I've got the option of fastforward 30seconds, 2.5 minutes, 10 minutes(timescroll ff1) and to the of media(Timescroll FF2). My rewinds are set to 8 seconds and 27 seconds.

My wife will love new jump feature.
