HD Home Run Problems

Has anyone ever seen an HD Homerun where one tuner can get all the channels but the other can get all but one? I did a rescan on the one that doesn't get them all and the channel is missing. The channel works fine on the other port on the same tuner. Both cables are running to the same splitter and the comcast dude tested signal and it worked on both. I guess I will flip the cables to be sure but it is very strange!

Also my second HD Homerun has a lot of symbol quality issues that I am trying to correct but again the comcast guy says all is fine. Very very strange. I am thinking that unit is failing?

Yes, I had that exact same problem with my newest HDHR. Basically tuner 0 wouldn't tune anything above channel 125 while tuner 1 was fine. I went back and forth with Silicon Dust for a couple days and then they had me turn on diagnostic reporting and run a channel scan on each. The next email I got was to fill out an RMA form and ship it to them. After about a week they shipped me a complete replacement. So you might want to contact them by submitting a trouble ticket.

I opened a ticket and I hope to see a response soon. Very very strange that both crapped out. I wonder if I had a surge but it only affected half of the tuner! Comcast hates the lightning surge devices so I don't have any
