Some problems with SageTV 2.0
I have PVR-350 output setup with the official release of SageTV 2.0. I am experiencing the following problems:
1. Output through the 350 doesn't start when the SageTV starts, but requires that I VNC into the machine and manually go into the app and initiate an action that displays video (i.e. start playback of a recorded program). Otherwise it sits there on the test pattern. 2. I can't access Time Shift. When I press the default "Time Shift" button on the Hauppauge report, the 350 output goes back into test pattern mode. 3. During the evening, the machine locked up...I have to hit reset. Hope someone can help me out. Last edited by gameboy; 05-18-2004 at 07:51 AM. |

Did some remote/key remapping and resolved my second problem.
But still on start up or after putting sage in sleep mode (usually accidently) I have to remote into the sage box and get the 350 video output back. |

My machine locks up at exactly 10pm every 3 or 4 nights. So far, it's always finishing up recording something on one tuner at least, we're watching something on our 350, and it's about to record at least one thing at 10pm. We've got a 350 and a 250 working together.
If we're not watching something at 10pm, it doesn't hang. Whatever it's recording that's finishing at 10pm will not quite be saved properly, we won't be able to fast foward, pause or go back in the recording without it starting to loop over a few seconds of a show. The only way to watch a show with this problem is to start at the very beginning, and watch it all the way through without ff/rew or pause.
