Oh My Goodness!
I have arrived.
I've been having all sorts off issues trying to have Sage working correctly with my client server setup, from crashing, freezing, bad picture quality etc. After trying different Sage 2.0 versions, decoders and properties tweaks, I've finally have a ROCK SOLID system with AWESOME picture quality. The system is now very responsive and feels like an STB. For the client I'm using Sage 2.0 RC3, VMR 9 with translucent menus, Intervideo WinDVD 5 decoder, ATI Radeon 9600 256MB on an Athlon 64 3200+ 1GB RAM. I can't believe this picture is coming from Avermedia M150 on my MCE box. The MCE box NEVER has never come close to Sage client PQ. Thank you Sage for the hard work on this software. I'm still not able to get the 2.0 release working right, but I'm quite pleased with RC3. -- Abi
