What would be more efficient when using sagetv?
I am getting ready to do a clean install of Sagetv 7.1.???. with my current install, I am getting rotating circles for 15 seconds if I pause while viewing a recording or if I pause netflix. I also get the 15 second rotating circle when I hit play to continue. I am not sure what is causing this as it just started a week ago and wasn't doing it before.
I have 2 new 320 gig hard drives. Would it be more efficient to install sage and operating system on one drive and set the recordings to the other drive, or would it not matter. I currently have operating system, sage and recordings on one drive. Thanks! |

It would be better to have your operating system and programs on one drive and the recordings on another drive. The OS/programs drive could be smaller, like 120 gigs. If you keep the OS/programs drive relatively small, then it is easier to image the drive OS/programs for quick recoveries.
