Do not USE Diamond with non beta SAGETV

I just tested this and a whole lot more is messed up than the menu. It appears when we imported into the new STV and started woking with it allot changed. It is a total mess if you are using it with the none beta of sagetv. It is way more than just the tv and exit menu missing.

If you are running non-Beta Sage, is there a method of installing a Diamond version which was compatible with the non-Beta Sage?

Realize you are not supporting the older Diamond, but is it possible?

Guess I need to read up more on the issues I've briefly heard regarding Sage Beta and HVr-2250 & possibly 1600s

I think Plucky would need to republish 2.0 as new package.

Confused. Does this mean if I download SageTV 7 from the website and try to use the Diamond plugin, I will have problems?

It won't let me do that unless I give it a different name as you can't have more than one version in the repository and I am not to keen on having 2.

Plucky,

It might help to write in the release notes in the plugin repository that that Beta 7.1 is needed. I know in the Dependency list that you have listed that SageTV 7.1 is required, but I think a better explanation in the relase notes would help.

People don't read those either. The plugin system is suppose to prevent this from being installed anyways. I hve confirmed with sagetv it is a bug on their end letting it install. They provided a workaround but I havent had a chance to submit a new repository yet.
