How about adding in the choice "I do not own a MVP but I would buy one if there was a sage client for it and I would pay for the client"

I would gladly buy a client for the MVP that I already own and would most likely buy a second MVP/client when the client is available.

How about support for the D-Link DSM-320 54Mbps Wireless Media Player ?? This unit looks to blow the MediaMVP away! I wonder if it can output HD??

An Xbox is a much better client than the MediaMVP. If Sage would open up their API, I think lots of folks would put in the hooks into XBMC to act as a Sage Client. They did it for Myth even though Myth already runs on an Xbox.

I have to respectfully dissagree on the Xbox being a superior 'client' to the MVP. My reasons are as follows: 1) MVP has no moving parts. This inherently makes it potentially FAR more durable, and less prone to trouble. The lack of a hardrive and CPU fan also mean a totally silent solution. 2) Cost is better with MVP. At well under $100.00 (especially with rebates) the MVP shows better promise as a Sage client. Heck, if you use it to replace the necessity of a PVR-350 for those that need TV out, you can buy the MVP, and a PVR-250 for less than the PVR-350, or an Xbox for that matter. 3) Don't want the HD output. True the Xbox is somewhat capable of Hi-Def output, but I use a 'full-blown' HTPC for the output to my video projector. I use the MVP for guest room, bedrooms, etc. Not to mention that at least to the best of my knowledge, getting software other than games to run on the Xbox still requires a bios 'hack'. -PGPfan

Ive been thinking about using Sage in a system im putting together for someone which would involve a server and a number of clients but lack of any official response on this topic is gonna make me look elsewhere I think
 Its a shame because I really like the product. Chris.
