Set Up an Automated, Bulletproof File Back Up Solution -LifeHacker
Here is a pretty cool article for you guys that want an automated backup solution similar to WHS, but with online capability that is't OS dependent and free except for the on-line backup option.
Check out this article.

I've been using CrashPlan for quite a while (online backup mentioned in the article) and I am very happy with their product.
I actually have WHS backing up everything locally, and CrashPlan backing up the data on WHS. btl.

I just read about that software. It sounds great. Do you use the on-line option?

I do - it sits there churning away almost constantly shipping stuff from the directories I've specified over to CrashPlan. I actually had to limit it's bandwidth because it was messing with the voice quality on my VoIP (Vonage) phones
btl.

Saw this posted yesterday and thought it'd be a good weekend project to get it setup

Crashplan has worked good so far for me, but haven't had to restore anything yet. Should maybe try testing that this weekend. I found the initial upload to be slow, but that would vary with your internet connection. Once the initial upload was complete it has worked great since.
