Default rules for failed TVDB lookups or RSS items?
Stuckless, not only has your work been impressive, you have turned around new functionality seemingly overnight. BMT is an excellent tool, so thank you.
![]() I am struggling only with the poor quality of my media files as some items simply cannot be looked up. For example, I have an automated RSS download of a regular broadcast from the UK and the only means of identifying the show title once landed is that the files are saved into a particular directory; neither file names nor embedded metadata provide any reliable means of lookup to TVDB, and the items won't appear in my Diamond TV views until I've set their media type to TV using BMT. ![]() So, bringing together strands of new BMT functionality, can I have the MediaTitles.xml functionality go one step further by automatically assigning media type TV and show title metadata to incoming items if the TVDB lookup fails? Or bypass the lookup altogether where I know it'll be fruitless? Anyway, great work. ![]()
