Well I have do a full uninstall of Sage and a reinstall, so far it seems better, but one show seems to still end up with a fragmented piece to it for some reason, but nothing missing.

Well with the new install of Sage I tried last night going to bed to set up every tuner to record and left the client viewing a show. Checked this morning and all the files are complete with not sections for the recordings. Something I did notice though was that they all got recorded on the same hard drive and so Sage did not have to assign different drives for different recordings ( a bunch of shows got deleted on one drive accidently when I was installing the fresh Sage, not entirely sure how). I still have an image of the Sage install which was causing this error and so when I have a recording gap in the server I will image the current setup and then restore the image of the old setup and see if it still has same problem recording to just one drive.

Personally I would use hauppauge's own software to record vhs tapes etc, OR if you have a video editing app that records, that would also be an option. I would not be using Sage for this sort of work.
