So can I add a custom menu item to launch, hulu, boxee, netflix, etc?

I'm not sure from what I've been reading if I can modify a menu to lauch an external program and minimize sagetv.

is this possible? I'm thinking of a method like the stock V7 interface has the launch hulu desktop function.

In the Editing Menus sticky, there is a post that shows an example of how to create a menu item that launches an external program.

This assumes that you know how to create a menu <fragment> (see the Editing Menus sticky)
