Slight pause at 30 minute marks when watching live tv

Hi,
just wondering does everyone get a slight 1 sec pause at 1:30 , 2:00, 2:30 etc. Seems every half hour Sage does this. Is it normal for everyone else?

if a show is ending and one is beginning you will always have a pause
and even TiVo/Replay do this
if you pad everything you watch then the padding will make it so if a show runs over it will not get that pause

but they are determined by the guide data

Yes, I have the same problem... even when there are NO shows being recorded, just using sage for the tv functionality currently

Used to get that with the RC's but not with the release. Maybe some configuration from the RC's got left over on your machine?

Even when just watching a show it's still being recorded, a slight pause is normal at the beginning/end of a show.

yeah a small pause is normal at the beginnning and end of a show being watched

it is the stopping and starting of a new file
(it is to have the ability to do one touch recording)
that would be a nice feature
disable one touch recording and have to start and stop it manually
