Is playing capable of simultaneous streams?

In a Sage environment Playon is streaming to the Sage server so only 1 Sage device at a time can be using it.

That's what I thought. I configured a virtual playing server on my sage server to be able to stream multiples.

I think this is only true for extenders. If you use client PCs then you can stream to every one of those at the same time, but only to a single extender (or the server itself). I never really tried this myself though as my client in the living room runs its own PlayOn server in addition to the one on the Sage server.

I've tried streaming to clients from one instance of playon loaded on the server and it didn't work. I had to install one copy on the sage server and then loaded windows xp on virtual pc 2007 on the server and installed a second copy of playon. This configurations works great. I limit the applications on the clients.
