One more quick vid - this is on my HD300 with music running and the visualizations in the background (instead of music art)

Very Nice. Any chance of using the artist info to display fan art or album art for the rotating background?

Thanks

Very nice. I will start using this right away, and I can see that when you've completed the planned enhancements, I'll finally be able to give up Meedio as my 10 foot music app.

Great selection of images for backgrounds. Usually, when you try an app like this, the developer has only included a few images, and you get fatigue watching them rotate. You guys took the trouble to add a sizeable number, and it's appreciated.

Having read the Getting Started guide before I got it, I knew what to expect. My #1 request would have been a way to quickly jump within a list, and it looks like you already have that planned as an enhancement.

Suggestion:
Option to keep album art displayed in OSD (maybe control timeout of display of timebar?) Or maybe when fanart is in place, one of the options is the album cover.

Off to play some more...

Very nice!

A couple of observations and feature requests

I really like how quickly one can access music. No nonsense just play it. Love that. Simple elegant. Visualizations are very nice too. I'm noticing on the visualizations that on my HD200 the right hand of the screen flashes a green columnar strip... Not sure what's up with that.

I noticed that if I select a album to playback it starts immediately and starts the visualizations. Then if I click back on the remote and let it sit there the default STV's visualizations start up after the timeout... The black screen where the album info scoots around.

I'm sure it's on your list but it would be extremely helpful to have your letter bar hyper jump thing from the videos side brought into the music side. I suspect it's on the list...

Overall, very nice. Very easy to work with.

That's it for now!

I am trying to setup a landing zone link to playlists. What browser is used for the music menus?

I am able to get this to work by going into views and selecting playlists. This brings up the playlists in the default browser. When I backed up (left arrow), it inserts the playlists into the music menu and i am able to play a playlist.

I want to be able to access the playlists directly, though. Any hepl would be appreciated.

This is awesome, thank you!!! I see you plan on adding sorting options - will one option be to sort by Date Added to library (newest first)?

Thanks for the Music section update. The only other option I would like is to be able to go to another album or artist and append to the current playlist, but I noticed in the getting started doc that this is an option you have planned to add so I'll be looking forward to it. I would also like to be able to remove or flag certain tunes in the playlist either or be removed or flagged to not be played as most of my albums have some of my favorites I want to here and others I don't care for. I also noticed this is an option you don't plan to add. I don't know how difficult this would be. It would be very appreciated but not necessary. Again, A very great thanks for the continuing effort as I plan on using sage well into the future as there is nothing else out there that can replace its functionality , stability , options and looks. Pheonix has transformed sage into what everyone has wanted sage to look and feel like for a long time. You guys hit it home with this interface.

I just noticed this morning that when my system wakes up from sleep, it doesn't matter if I select album, artist or genre, the left pane is the individual songs. I have to shut down sage them restart it and then it works as it should. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I run sage as a service. I also went to sage detailed settings to have access to standard ui and it was the same there. only individual songs listed and again after shutting and restarting the ui did the albums, artists and genre work properly.
