SageTV 2.0 No-Sound for Music Playback
I'm trying out sageTV and can't seem to get any sound with my mp3s. It finds them in the library fine, but will not play. I've got an M-Audio 2496, and for the TV settings I'm using the SPDIF target (which works fine for TV, and works fine with other applications like JRiver Media center), but I get nothing with sageTV. The M-Audio mixer doesn't even show anything being driven to this port. Am I missing something obvious? I"ve played with all the different targets and decoders but nothing works.
Also, does anyone know if there is a play to support other formats, like APE? If SageTV supported APE this would be a perfect product for me. Thanks in advance, Mike.

I think I am having the same issue. If you uncheck "Use SPDIF" on the main tab in AC3Filter do your MP3's start playing? If so leave that checked and changing your Output to something different. Mine was set to 3/2+SW 5.1 channel which worked for everything but music. I changed it to "As Is" and let my receiver perform any conversions.
