Comskip with WTV support. Test version available for Donators

An experimental version of Comskip with WTV support has been released
Build 81.011 is available for donators in the early access area.
From the release notes

Changes in 0.81.011
- Complete change of the used codecs and demux. Comskip will now process everything ffmpeg can decode. Due to the experimental nature certain features have stopped working. Most noticable is: NO LIVE TV SUPPORT!!!!

Hi Erik,

Will this provide any differences in detection vs. the old? Or is it just about new file format?

Thanks!

W.r.t. the detection algorithms no change
However the audio/video decoding synchonizations should be much better now, so detection quality may improve if you previously needed large max_volume_slip settings.
