HDHR Prime / SageDCT / HDPVR

Ok, question for thoes that are using the HDHR Prime (or any cablecard source).

Have you noticed cable companies setting the copy flag per show, or is it typically per channel?

I'm thinking of getting a HDHR prime as my primary recording source and using my HD-PRV's as a backup incase I encounter a copy flag. I'm just not sure if Sage can detect that a program is copy protected and switch from the sagedct source to a different tuner or not.

The copy protection flags can be set on a per channel basis or a per show basis. That is all up to your service provider and can change at any second. Verizon and Comcast generally have everything (except premiums, ppv) copy freely, while others only seem to have local channels marked copy freely.

This could change at any second.
