Client freeze on new show

I'm encountering problems with my client (new install of Win XP Pro). Whenever I start watching a show in live TV, I get about a second of audio and video, then it stops. If I change the channel, same thing happens on the new channel. Change back to the first channel, and it plays normally. I also see this phenomenon when a new show starts on the hour or half hour -- I get a second of the new show, then a freeze. I can alo choose "Close File", then reselect the show in the Guide th obtain normal playback. Doesn't happen on the server.

My theory is that it has something to do with a new file being created on the server for a new show. But I don't know how to fix it. Thoughts?

I have seen that before but it always went away on its own. I may have rebooted the server between attempts.

Same problem here...I have yet to address it. are you by chance running a dual channel lineup?
