recordings start late?

Sometimes and without reason, some of my recordings start later then they should. I have padding on all recordings. Between 1-10minutes front and back for different favorites. I checked to make sure there are no conflicts during the late recordings. I have 3 tuners (2xUSB2 & 1xPVR-250) running the latest SAGE TV software. When it happens, it usually starts on time (without the padding ex. 1PM show with 5 minute padding suppose to start at 12:55 but starts at 1PM), 2minutes or 5 minutes. It never stops early though, ALWAYS records the end padding.

Anybody know what might be the cause?

From the SageTV Configuration page is a document titled SageTV Configuration Properties. It lists:

remove_padding_on_back_to_back_favorites - when two Favorites are on back-to-back on the same channel it causes any padding to be ignored for that junction

So... are those recordings occuring on the same channel as another favorite that recorded immediately before the one missing the start padding? This would also remove the end padding for the previous one too, though.

I already took care of that setting in the configuration file. In fact when I first reinstalled it, you were the one to remind me of it I think...
It seems to happen to the same shows more often though. Without a trace, csi which are both on channel 4 I think.

Oh well... I thought I would mention it.

There aren't, by any chance, 2 versions of those favorites, are there? One for First Runs & one for Rerun, with only one of those having the proper paddings set? Probably not, I suppose, but I can't think of any good reason for this currently... I don't remember if there could be another rason to skip the padding.
