Live TV & Recording

If a scheduled recording has been fired off and you accidently try to watch something, will the recording be interrupted or is the channel locked to the particular one it's recording?

You should get a message asking if you want to stop the current recording.

Depends on your configuration. On mine, it would just use one of the other 4 PVR250s! Seriously though, I don't know because I've never run out of tuners while recording and timeshifting. Easily tested though to find out. Do just what you proposed and see what happens. (Obviously just set up a test record, not something you care about.)

It depends on whether all your tuners are used and what tiype of recordings those tuners have going on. If one is recoding an Intelligetn Recording, LiveTV will take over & the recording is cancelled. If it is a favorite or manual recording, they have priority and you are will see a dialog stating the conflict & asking you to either "Do Nothing" or Cancel the other recording. If you have multiple tuners in use, you will see multiple copies of this dialog until you choose to cancel one of the recordings or Do Nothing for them all. If you do nothing for them all, you will see an error dialog stating that the conflict resolution was rejected so the show can't be wathed.
