From now on, I'll be publishing updates to this app on the google play store.

You can read the descriptions and check out the images there, but one interesting update is that you can now browse the Mobile Web for SageTV from within this app. So if there are things that you can't do yet, such as schedule recordings, then you can easily jump into the mobile web view to do it.
Thank you for sharing this I am having fun playing with it. All works well except the mobile web portion. I can use the mobile web app from another computer and my tablet through a browser, but clicking it in the app gives me an error (404 page not found) Is there a way to check the configuration of this part of the app?

Edit: It says - HTTP Error 404
Problem accessing /sagem/m/.Reason
Not_Found
Powered by Jetty://

Edit Part 2
I am a dummy. I had the Sage web plugin installed, but not the Sage "mobile" web plugin. I now have that one installed and I can connect to it through a browser, but when I use the mobile web selection of your app it just hangs with a very small round circle with :TV" inside that slowly spins around. Waited for 10 minutes and nothing.

Edit Part 3
Working now - only change was rebooting my tablet. awesome app!

Force Close

Decided to try it out. When I launch it, it errors out and wants to force close...

"The application Phoenix Remote (process org.jdna.sage.phoenix) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"

Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant running 2.2.1. Any ideas?

If you report the error using the built in submission form, then I'll get a full stack trace in the google play dashboard, which will show me exactly where/why it died.

Are you running the latest 1.5 version downloaded from the google play store?

This is still a beta so I suspect there are going to be lots of these types of issues, so reporting them via the google play store will be the best chance of getting it fixed.

Seems to work on my Atrix 4G over wifi. Noticed that Search boxes are truncated to the left side.

all menus turn the app from landscape into portrait-mode.
So, for tablet-use it is quite uncomfortable to use.

is this just a flag i can edit somewhere with txt-editor ?

Bug

Just installed last night and love it. Thanks.

I have Android 4.0.3 and whatever version from playstore yesterday.

Disk space shows incorrectly (less) on the Phoenix remote. Mobile web and Phoenix sagetv show the same number but not Phoenix remote.

I assume but all menus, you mean the VFS views/menus. Yeah, they are "forced" into portrait view since loading them in Landscape, since if you accidientally tilt the unit then the view has to reload all data, since I haven't added any data caching yet. Once I add data caching, I'll unlock the view.

This is probably due using a divisor of 1000 vs 1024 in the space calculating. I'm not sure which I use.

Is the version on the "Play Store" the same as the last one you released here? It's not prompting me to update so I'm making that assumption.

Thanks.

GB version 2.3.6 also don't see a way to verify Phoenix for SageTV app version.

Thanks what I thought. How do I submit a bug fix or is my comment good enough?

That's a good question I'd like to tell you that your comment is good enough, but my memory isn't great.

Report all issues to http://code.google.com/p/sagephoenix/issues/list and label them with PhoenixAPP.

Thanks. It hasn't shown up yet, but when it does, it should give me an exact location as to where it dies. I'm hoping to get a new build out on weekend, so I'll try to get this fixed by then.
