The first person that PMs me their First Name, Last Name and email address to send it to will get a GMail invitation. Please only respond if you plan on using it yourself.

Just curious, can you get your Gmail from a mail app like Thunderbird/Outlook express?

They have no POP3 access as of yet

stanger89, you mean does it have POP3 or IMap4 access. You might want to pop over there and see if they have Ip address's for such servers. I doubt it though as most web mail forces you to get it via a browser where then can better force you to read their ads.

From the Gmail faq:

6. Does Gmail support automatic forwarding and POP3 access?

Not at the moment, but Google believes in helping people access information whenever and however they want to do so. In the future you will be able to access Gmail messages from non-Gmail accounts for free or at a nominal fee.

Thank you! I didn't know anything about gmail until reading about it last night. This will work out great for me because I keep running out of space with my hotmail account. I often can't check my email for a few days, and it keeps filling up with spam, causing me to miss some real mail.
