Gemstone video

Recently upgraded to gemstone. Under the videos section with the old Diamond theme, there was a category option that I really liked the layout. It had smallish icons on the left side of the panel showing categories like Animation, Drama, etc. When you selected the icon it then showed the thumbnails of the movies in that category.

In Gemstone, I don't see this same layout. Do I have to create my own? I really liked the last one in Diamond. It suited my needs perfectly. I find most of the flows very similar to each other in Gemstone.

The flow you are thinking about in Diamond was our Category Flow. It was the only Flow that didn't survive the transition to using Phoenix VFS and the feature that allows you to change the type of Flow. You can create a Genre "flow" using any of the flow types and the Movies by Genre view (VFS) now so there are lots of options, jut not the one you remember.

One of the things on my list is too recreate the Genre posters/banners/backgrounds for Gemstone to allow a similar look or a possible new flow that would work like the one in Diamond. Have to find time from the kidlets to work on it and seems to be getting harder to do so as they get older...
