Thinking of experimenting with Gemstone - currently use Phoenix.

Does Gemstone include a new experience for Music and Photos? Or is it just for Videos and Movies?

Those are stock from SageTV other than the many theme improvements to make those areas fit with Gemstone...but no functionality changes in those areas yet.

Not looking for feature changes - would like to the user experience / look and feel to match.

Can you attach some screen shots of the Music and Photo areas?

Does Gemstone allow customization of the menus? (i.e hide the 'setup' that I dont want family members playing with)

It does match, bu I have a couple changes to make in the Photos screen to add the Gemstone Highlights for next release. I don't spend much time on those areas...

Yes you can hide the menu items you don't want family to get into. Gemstone has ADM+ integrated so you can move, hide, add menu items as you please.
