Just registered and SageTV has broke

I am using the latest beta as to get PAL audio working at the moment it requires a beta and for the most part its worked fine..

Just put in my reg code last night... and this morning turned my system on to record for the day... only to on a whim have a look at its CPU usage... my system in quiet mode can't really handle high CPU loads (fan turning too slowly) ... good job i checked... it was running at like 90% all for SageTV (2100 XP+)

Started looking into the setup of it... then i pressed home and got a blue screen of death on ntlkrnl or something...

I remember i'd ran out of space on my system drive last night so i had a look again... sure enough space was being used to an unbelievable degree...

my sage logs

the

sage0
....1
....2
.....3

files were up to 1.2gig 800meg for the 1st , 300meg for the 2nd...

Sage on boot was just using 10% CPU and not appearing... i gave it 5 minutes and then had to get to work (LATE) ... so i'm not recording... can i just delete those files as its the wiz files that has EPG stuff in them!??

Thanks.. I'm sure its a collection of things that s buggered up my setup... I'll happily delete all and start again if i have to...

Just delete those sagetv_X.txt files. Then run SageTV and it should start to create another one, if it gets big quick, then stop SageTV and send me a portion of the file so I can see what's going on.

I deleted those files but everything was broke... i lost all my channels.. the XMLTV plugin didn't work... in the end i deleted everything and reinstalled...

it'd be nice if there was an option, or Sage could automatically backup your favourites and intelligent recording data... I guess these are stored in these files and the wiz but when corruptuion occurs you have to start from fresh.. having these files seperate and being importable after a clean reinstall would be ideal...

Something strange happens when i first run Sage too... my PAL tv channels are at certain channel numbers... before after a few restarts they've all moved to completely different channel numbers... this hasn't happened yet... i hope it hadn't happened this morning, i forgot to check that i had a tv picture.. otherwise my recordings today will just be static
