Watched Status export/sync with Trakt?

Over the years, one could argue that SageTV has gleaned quite a bit of information regarding our media likes and dislikes regarding the type of moves and tv shows that we have watched. That would actually be one of the core features of SageTV... the recommendations.

While I still use Sage as my core recording engine, I have migrated more and more of my viewing clients away from being Sage to Plex as the core viewer. To get to the crux of this post, I was wondering if anyone here has thought about a way to 'export' or sync our tv show/movie watched status to a current repository such as Trak.tv?

Initially, I would like to be able to sync the show watched status from Sage to the Trakt.tv database. Since I still use Sage as the backend/recording engine for my setup, it would be great to allow an ongoing sync of items that are watched in Plex to the Sage db to allow for Sage's recording to function.

If anyone has any thoughts about this, or even better yet is currently doing so, can you take a moment and let us know? It looked like the Plex Scanner had momentum on this exact thought, but unless I am mistaken, it never achieved that functionality. (http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...&postcount=177)
