Interesting potential client platform

Saw this thing this morning: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/so...compute-device

Like an Intel NUC, but cheaper, and with a small SSD included.

Yikes, looking for 1.5 million $$ in under 45 days. I smell another project like that 'uberphone' that failed to get its bazillion $$ funding goal. They will need a LOT of funders to get anywhere near that goal, but with their 10k production run they are looking for it only comes out to $150 per unit for the production run. Of course that doesn't include any costs to develop, prototype, etc.

I will keep my eyes on it though.

How is that really any different than the myriad of other low power mini-itx boards out there?
