I'll have to see if I can add some additional troubleshooting to the Plex side of things...

Some additional data for the current troubleshooting.
"Currently recording" works. But when there is nothing being recorded by Sage, it returns the same error message as those other ones that don't work. So I guess that's the standard error message for finding nothing. And your android Phoenix remote app doesn't have any issues finding any those items, in case that's of any relevance. |

Testing this
I've been trying this out. Same issue as others reported. Only view that populates is Scheduled Recordings (which looks great!). I'm working from a fresh reinstall of Sage with most current Phoenix plugins. Log files attached.
Love your work. Thanks for your efforts with this.

So according to Phoenix, you have no TV Shows... Do you have TV Shows?

I have lots and lots of TV shows. Probably over 200, all of which show up in sage and Phoenix on both main computer and hd300.

Yeah, me too. Huge list of shows showing from that (after changing to my server ip and 8080 port).

Ok. In Phoenix I had been selecting All TV Shows which included the archived shows. Turns out they were all archived (?) for whatever reason. Used BMT to unarchive all of them and now get a list under TV Shows. Plex channel now says "unable to load the view Phoenix.view.default.TV".

Unfortunately, I can't really get much futher on this until the weekend, but I'll push out another release on the weekend (or sooner) that adds some plex logging... as it stands it appears that for whatever reason, plex is not getting an error from the server, but that it gets back an empty list of items. that's odd.

I can configure it and it loads, but when I select anything it says that there're no files for the given view.

Sadly this seems to be a problem that affects many. I'm not 100% sure why this is happening... in many cases, the logs I've seen don't show any errors, just no files returned.

New Release 1.0.2
https://github.com/stuckless/sagetv-...annel/releases
This doesn't fix any bugs, just adds some new logging, and the code has been re-organized to allow sharing between the 3 sub-systems (metadata service, search search, and the plugin) This is probably the last release of this plugin since, by all accounts, it is done. If there are bugs, then I'll fix them, but there's nothing "new" to be added.

I am running Gemstone as my SageTV UI - I assume that to use this Plex channel I need to be running Phoenix as my UI, is that correct? What if I have Phoenix installed but disabled?

The Channel doesn't care which "UI" you are running, but phoenix-core must be installed (so, if you have BMT, Phoenix, or Gemstone installed, then you are good to start using this Plex Channel plugin)

OK, I have Phoenix core services 2.5.5 installed but I see there is an update available. Am I good to go with that version or do I have to upgrade first (I imagine if I upgrade I will have to restart the Sage server which isn't good for FAF).
Any other dependencies - I do have BMT, and tons of other plugins installed.

Ok, I have updated Phoenix Core to version 2.5.10, and I have Sagex 7.1.9.15 running. I restarted Plex and Sage. But I don't see the channel in Plex.
I am wondering if I installed the bundle in the right folder? The github doc says: "Extract it and copy the SageTVPhoenix.bundle folder to the Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/ folder" but I installed it in the C:\Program Files\Plex\Plex Media Server\Resources\Plug-ins folder. That is where all of the other bundles seem to be. Did I install in the wrong place and if so where is the Library... folder on Win7? The other thing is that I am wondering if I have some of the required views since I don't run the Phoenix UI. In the J:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\userdata\Phoenix folder I only have two folders - cache and services
