HD200 and microwave interference

I have a HD200 linked to my home system with a tiny, portable usb powered TP Link router, which is linked via wifi to a nearby Netgear router. My HD200 sits where no wired access is available.

Everything works at 2.4ghz, which my microwave interferes with.

Does anyone know of or use a dual-band usb wifi stick that works with the HD200? I also have the approved ENUWI-N Sage stick, but it's 2.4 ghz.

I've seen some new USB dual-band wifi sticks by Belkin, Linksys, etc., but whether they work with Sage hardware is the question.

I don't know about the USB adapters any more - there is a thread around here that goes over a few options, but nothing current and some were hit or miss.

When I tried to get this working, I found two options that I felt were actually viable:

1) Wi-Fi Range Extender/bridge with Ethernet port.

2) Router that could work as a wireless bridge, same idea as extender, but probably more likely to give excellent results.

I understand these solutions aren't as clean, but they do achieve the desired results.

thanks.
#1 could work if it was a dual-band unit. I also found a thread with powerline routers as another option. it's a start

Hey TV Master,

I went through the same situation. I could not get wifi to work well no mater where the router or band. I started using Actiontec Ethernet to Coax Adapters. It allowed me to connect an Ethernet cable to the back of the extender without having to run additional cables. Assuming you are using a cable modem for your internet service, this should not be a problem. I started using these adapters 3 years ago and have not had a single problem since.
